why would new car die when i stop....but automatically restart

Most likely the car has an economy mode, where the engine stops when the car isn't moving to save gas. My wife's X3 has it, I find it annoying and turn it off.

Lol no worries. Most New models have device that stops engine and restarts when needed. It's a gas saver. Dealer can switch off. Richy Rich
