I think you should have done a compression test after fogging the cylinders to see if the motors good , , if it checked out o.k. then drop the gas tank and clean it , what about the frame is it rotted out ? , so did it fire up when you started it ?

Fuel pump sounds OK. Does it turn over and start? Is the battery good? (most likely not) Have you measured fuel pressure?

Its a new battery and it turns over and almost does but never actually fires up. Ive got spark at the plugs, how would i check the fuel pressure.

Buy a gauge at the auto store. Also, your pressure regulator could be bad, there's a test for that with the gauge. Also, change the fuel filter. Some are under the car, some under the hkood.
