96 gmc 7.4l vortec

Asked by Tyler Jun 24, 2019 at 10:14 AM about the 1996 GMC C/K 2500 Series

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck is in time, has fuel, and has spark.
Replaced plugs, plug wires, distributor, crank and
can sensors, and re did the timing. Truck cranks
and shutters but won’t actually run. I tested the
injectors and they read in ohms where they should
be. Anyone got any ideas?

U have a spider injection system on there? If it original its junk. I had issue with mine and no one could figure it. Replaced it with new designed spider system...no more issues. At least look into it. Hope that helps!

Yeah it’s spider injection. But I’m getting pulses the whole way through to the injectors.

U will get pulses but they leak like a sieve. Originals are junk! Dont take my word look it up i think that u may see it may b that. I went thru smething similar replacing stuff. No one could figure. Now starts every time. Let me know...curious.
