2019 Ford Fusion check engine light

I am driving a 2019
fusion and twice this evening when I
began to back up the check engine
came on, the car shut itself off the
back up camera screen changed to
just a grey and black photo

I did want to add that both times if started back up right away. It did almost feel like maybe it skipped once on the way home. The car only has 8,000 miles on it
