2003 Grand marquis squealing

I have a 2003 grand marquis. It is squealing when I
have the AC or heat is on. It doesn't squeal when
the air is off. It has a brand new belt on it. Is it my
compressor going bad?

Check the belt idler, tensioner and a/c compressor. I'll be it is one of those.

New belts or not the problem is usually the tension on the belts.
