Asked by GuruSB2JT May 25, 2019 at 06:37 PM about the 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 grand marquis with
automatic temperature control  that
erractically blows air, I have already
changed the blower resistor and
blower motor and problem still exists.
I've read able changing the speed
selector switch but after researching I
dont believe the automatic
temperature control has a switch that
can be changed.

Check and see if there is a control valve in one of the heater hoses, if it does this might be bad. Also check the switch for the blower motor it might have a short.
