Radio install

Im trying to install an aftermarket radio.i cut the
factor harness because i didn't know about the
harness that connects to that. I thought i hooked
everything up right but wen i drive or go in reverse
the radio cuts off.

more than likely the computer (ECM) runs the radio , the days of red wire black wire are OVAAH , you'll need to splice in the right adapter , it's best to solder them , and you may need a computer interface , see a pro stereo shop for help and bring you wallet
