I had called a few drive shaft manufacturers none make a 2 piece drive shaft. I was hoping my answer would come from someone who had did this engine swap on a 71 c10 pickup so that they can help solve the problem.look for a shop that can make a drive shaft was not the answer I was looking for, thats like telling someone with a tooth ache to see a dentist

They can customize one of the drive shafts for you which is the correct answer. The front one is the problem. Who do you go to when you have a tooth ache? A mechanic?
