How do I fix, no side marker,brake or running lights when pulling on the light switch?

I have replaced the light switch but when I pulled the switch all the lights came on; turned switch off, turned it back on and no lights including dash lights

Did you check the fuse? May have blown it when all the lights came on. If it blew out, you will have to check wire harness. You got a pinched wire someplace.
