yes it is, from 1995 uo to 2005 its 4R70W from 2005 present is 4R70E (4) four foward gears (R) rear differential (70) 700 lbs MAX Torque (W) wide ratio (4) four foward gears (R) Rear differential (70) 700 lbs MAX Torque (E) Electronicly controled
