My 2017 Subaru Outback's battery dies if I open the car with my fob, and then do not lock it again. For instance, the car is in my garage, and I hit the "open" button on the fob, get something out of the car, and IF I DO NOT LOCK IT AGAIN, the battery dies overnight. No lights are on, although I do see the led light in the car handle. Any advice?

I would also suspect the weak factory battery.

my 2010 tribeca has the ground lights in the rocker panel. If I do not lock afterwards they stay on for a long time. Some have caught fire because of this!
