Tailgate latch won't lock

The latch on my tailgate won't lock. So I'm taking it to the
shop tomorrow but I only have the one car, no jumper. No
neighbors. How can I keep the battery from dying over
night?
The dash keeps the warning for the tailgate open lit up,  the
domes won't turn off.

Bulbs hot and hard to pull. Fuse 10amp on 3rd row fuse box column

2013 sorrento hatchback lock needs a reset if battery drained.
