I’m having the same problem w/my Lincoln town car. I read it could be a under loading misfire,spark plugs,or gas line needs to be purged. Hope this helps.

No I haven't. EGR valve has been changed but still not resolved. Sometimes when it's cold it sounds like it's running on 2 cylinders and is terribly jerky. Drives me crazy
