Leased car demaged.. A lot

Asked by jay900529 Feb 24, 2019 at 12:29 AM about the 2016 Honda Civic

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Im from South Korea, Im 28y/o female..
4 years ago when i first came to US, I needed
a car. And i didnt know how to drive, I didnt
know anything about car.
I didnt have anyone that could give me a
good advice.
So i made a worst decision i could make at
that time.
A brand new car "LEASE" !!!
I went to the dealership and thats what they
set me up for.. and i didnt know anything
about this.
I got 2016 Honda civic leased in 2016 June.
And in 2019 June, my lease will be over.
It was my first car, first driving, first
everything.
My car is sooooooooooo demaged.
Windsheld crack. Front bumper all fucked up.
Back side left light is cracked.
Both side of car is scratched.
I honestly dont know what do to from now
on.
People were telling me to go to carmax and
trade my lease car cuz they will buy it
Then get a new car purchased in carmax
But since my car is so damaged already
I dont know if they will take it
And if i fix the car out of my pocket and bring
it to carmax, maybe another option
But idk how much i will have to pay to fix my
car
Please give me any adivce guys

You can turn the car in and pay huge repair costs to the leasing company or you can fix it and hope the leasing company does not notice the repairs. CarMax is not a way of getting out of your problems!

You could also buy the car and keep driving it the way it is which might be your cheapest way out of your problems.

Why not pay for the damage you did to the vehicle... rather simple. Was it difficult to lease without a driving license... or did the Dealer help you obtain this also? 너무 호기심
