Car radio and navigation went off while driving battery light went on

If your battery light went on, its telling you that your battery or your alternator is the issue...

Did you figure out an answer? This happened to me twice in the last 2 weeks. I replaced the battery 2 weeks ago, and that worked until tonight. Radio went silent, then turned off, then navigation turned off, all the lights on dash lit up- brakes, abs, etc...
