Trunk lip dent

Asked by tarafork Feb 13, 2019 at 07:50 PM about the 2016 GMC Terrain

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I backed out of my garage while my trunk
door was open. The lip his the top of the
garage door before I realized it. There’s a
small dent under the AWD name plate, bent
downwards. No paint damage.

What’s the easiest way to repair myself?
Rubber mallet? Please help! I don’t want to
take it to an auto body place because I know
they’ll charge an arm and leg.

1 Answer

Closes perfectly fine. It just annoys me that it’s there. I’m in the process of checking around, thanks.
