What makes a throttle body go bad at 65k miles

What would cause a throttle body to go bad at 65k
miles on a 2015 Hyundai elantra gt? The car has
had a small "jerk" in it from time to time while
driving. Replaced the throttle body, it did not fix the
jerk.

How many miles? Is it due for spark plugs? or perhaps plug wires
