Windows making noise

Kia Sportage driver and passenger windows
working fine but when they going up making  
some cracking noise . Feels like noise is coming
from under central console.  Any ideas why this is
happening? Thank you

Cracking under the center console? Maybe electrical? Where is the window switch located? Door or center console?
