Where is the manufacture date on a 2012 Chevrolet Captiva?

Asked by marianlibrarian Jul 14, 2016 at 11:17 AM about the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport

Question type: General

My husband said it would be inside the drivers door. But I am not seeing it. Is it tiny or in some other place?

Should be a sticker on the driver's door post that has production date, vin number and some other information.

To be most clear about where to find it, you cannot see it from outside the car or inside the car when the driver's door is closed. You can only see it when the driver's door is open, exposing the door jamb of the car. Look along the side of the door itself or along the door frame of the car to find it. It will either be a sticker or a thin plate with the information you seek. It's possible it may have been removed at some point. Sometimes the sticker or plate is found under the hood of the car near the radiator on the frame of the car.
