Car theft deterrent system

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've tried everything in the GM book and YouTube
to disable the car theft deterrent system.  I can get
the car started but cannot shift gears..any advice?

Do it right and get the correct key or fix what is wrong. You won't get car theft advice here.
