Chains for Crosstrek?

Asked by Xerichick Dec 27, 2018 at 05:08 PM about the 2013 Subaru Crosstrek

Question type: General

I have a 2013 Crosstrek. Wondering if I even need chains, and if so, which tires should I put them on - front, rear, both?

1 Answer

I would carry a set in case you need it. Get the low clearance 'S' type. For some reason Subaru recommends only using traction devices on the front tires.
