Anyone ever tried swapping a V8 into a rodeo?

My 92 rodeo has a GM v6. Would love to replace it with a V8.  Will a V8 bolt up to the existing transmission?  Can the stock fuel injection system be modified to work?  Other issues?

I also wondered that, I was wanting to drop a 318 or 383 down in mine. I know on the late 80s early 90s blazers/jimmys, a 350 will bolt to the stock transmission. but idk if thats the same for rodeos

350 should fit, seeing that is fits into a blazer which is almost the same frame, but you will prob, need a an engine mount adapter as the origane lengine mounts are offset. I want a Hemi 6.1 in my 97!
