Which Hyundai Elantra should I buy? Manual or Automatic?

Asked by Patricia Aug 02, 2020 at 10:38 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Elantra

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Does the Hyundai Elantra manual transmission
have any problems compared to the automatic?
Having to choose between the two...to purchase.
Both 2013, automatic has 237,000km and manual
has 150,000 km. Any problems with the manual to
make it priced so low?

All things being equal I would pick the manual transmission but then again both cars are 7 year old Hyundai's which to me makes them both a bad choice.

Same maker as Kia, right? We read the mileage can go insanely high on the Elantras and they still run smoothly. What sort of make would be more reliable for a budget of 5,000? (any opinions?)
