ford edge door ajar

Asked by GuruH8GVD Jul 31, 2019 at 10:39 AM about the 2013 Ford Edge

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2013 Ford edge I think I have the same issue that has been going
around with door ajar sensor, but I've noticed my dome lights turn off after
short time, even though car reads door ajar. does that mean I actually have
door ajar issue going on? if my lights eventually turn off?

ive tried WD-40 it works for a little while but since summer started every
morning reads door ajar, but lights do not stay on after a short while

I am having the same problem! I can never get my driver door to shut the first time without the door Ajar light on. I have to wiggle the door latch and slam it a few times. My alarm and dome lights come on at different times throughout the day, and my alarm will sound when nothing is around the car. This is so frustrating. I also have a 2013 Ford Edge limited
