Just replaced recalled engine for my 2013 optima and also fuel pump now won't start. I've been without my car for virtually 2_3 months now. I need to find what's wrong so I can either repair or trade

I have had to give the kia dealership my 2013 optima for over
a month for engine recall and when I got it back they said the
fuel pump was not covered under recall. I spent $600 on a
high pressure fuel pump and my car is still broke down in my
yard. I'm extremely frustrated and need help please

Sounds like you need to get it fixed and then get rid of it. Unfortunately, there is not enough information above to give you any useful suggestions. Not starting can be several things. If the car was recently fixed by the dealer, I would call them back and let them know.

2 years ago I had to hand over my 2013 Kia Optima for 2.5 months. Same thing.... they said my brake pumps were going out, and made me pay $850 to replace before I got my car back.

I had to get my 2012 Kia Optima engine replaced because of an engine fire 2.5 years ago. Now I am having the same issue with the fuel pump. I just had to pay 882.65 for a replacement! When I took my car in on 2/11/19 for the high pressure leak my invoice said that my car passed the SC172 Fuel pump inspection.. I am so confused and disgusted with KIA!! This vehicle will be gone soon. I will never own another one
