Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Worked for the first month, then randomly stopped working while driving. It
would sometimes turn on after a couple tries and be fine for awhile. Now it dos
it everytime I try to turn on the car.
It was at the dealership for 3 days and they found nothing. The engine light
comes on sometimes but never stays on. what do you think it could be

My daughter had a 2016 Compass and we had it towed the first time it quit. At the repair shop it started right up. Now we’ve spent $1000 because Jeep dealership said it was an ABS sensor. Less than 24 hours it quit. It will start back up within five minutes and it only does it within the first mile of being driven. We changed out the battery and then the problem started. I read something about a reset needed to be done when the battery was changed but now I cannot find the article. Curious to know if anyone else’s troubles started when the battery was changed.

I just got my 2016 Jeep back from a recall on 3/15 and since then it turned off on my dad twice. I took it back to see what they find but I’m not very hopeful cause of it not showing a check engine light
