Occasional starting problem 1012 Chevy Tahoe

Last couple weeks our Tahoe occasionally will not turn over, maybe once a
day. Battery and connections good, charging looks normal. When would not
start, car made no sound when key turned on. Tried wiggling steering wheel
to be sure not up against lock, jiggling gear shift to be sure it was in Park,
and jiggling ignition switch. All lights would come on, but no sound. Come
back couple hours later and would start right up. Could it be heat related,
since always happens after car has been running?
