Power Steering Service ESC 2012 Chevy Malibu

I have a 2012 Chevy Malibu, when I start it the power steering is gone, the
dash say, power steering service esc.  Any ideas? This is my only car and i am
a single woman, and i don't want to be taken advantage of by a repair shop.

Mine just started the exact same yesterday I also have a 2012 chevy malibu if I find out I will let you know.

Gm has a special warranty for the power steering take it to a gm dealer and make them look it up. I just had my 2011 Malibu fixed today it has to be under 150000 miles. Don't hesitate gm also pays for the diagnostic

Can u still drive if it’s a just a sensor?
