My car won't accelerate

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While I was driving home today I would press on
the gas and the car didn't want to accelerate the
speedometer was reading 45 but the car really
wasn't moving.. I'm not needing any girl or oil it
was just hesitating to go fast. And when I let go if
the gas pedal the car would stop.
