Transmission

Asked by Brendaj71 Apr 08, 2019 at 04:14 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm working on a friend's 2011 Chevy Equinox and
have been doing a lot of research before going at
it. After driving it, for a little while, the car does not
move, the engine is still running but the
transmission is not working. I turn the car off and
restart it, the transmission works again. The
pattern repeats itself. So, I got a code reader and it
came up with the code, P159F. Can this be fixed
just by resetting the TCM?
