My ignition stopped working. Key turns, warning lights flash, SOMETHING primes in the engine, (very quietly), NOTHING at all happens in the engine.

Asked by Conquerorshand Apr 22, 2019 at 06:07 AM about the 1993 BMW 7 Series

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My ignition has been modified to turn with a screwdriver.. bought car no title or key. Worked perfectly for 2 months
Then, between one start and the next, stopped entirely. Brake pedal is super tight. Battery is new, (cold start),
definitely not threat.  Starter gave 0 signs of going out. Button on shifter permanently depressed. But no issues
