Where is the Yaw Sensor on a 2011 Kia Sorento?

Asked by YawQ Jan 26, 2017 at 06:13 PM about the 2011 Kia Sorento

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A mechanic told a friend of mine that she needs to replace her Yaw Sensor on her 2011 Kia Sorento and they want to charge her quite a hefty price to do so.

Can someone tell me where the Yaw Sensor is located and what all is involved with replacing it?

It is a sensor that is somewhere in the suspension. That is all I know about it other that they run from $300 to $600. I think I would do some more research on this.

Located under the center console. It is incorporated into the airbag control module in the 2011-2017 Model Sorento's. Hence the hefty price tag.
