How to replace 2010 dodge ram batteries

We replaced our 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 batteries and now the truck will not start.  Why
would this happen?

did you clean the terminals on the cables? make sure the cables are tight. sometimes they look like they are connected well but are not.

Yes we did, checked all the wiring from terminals as well. Engine does not crank nor start up. Batteries are in correctly.
