Engine/tranny swap

I have a 1991 honda accord ex with a 2.2L and auto transmission. I want to get a new engine and transmission. What is the biggest i can put in it, and can i swap it to a manual transmission? I just want some more power then what i have.

It would most likely be easier and cheaper to turbo your F22B engine. There are a few swaps to get more power and you can convert to a manual but it isn't cheap or easy. I would suggest you go to Honda-tech.com and go to the Accord forum. If it's been done to an Accord, there is a post in there about it. Use the search function to search the Accord forum and all the questions you've asked have been answered countless times in there. It is a huge wealth of info.
