How good is a a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan with 300000km?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hello! Does it seem like a reasonable deal to buy a 2009 Dodge Grand
Caravan with 300000km for $1200? Can i still expect to be able to drive long
distances with it (like over 100-200km each time)? What would you check
before buying, aside doing a test drive? I never purchased a car and would
welcome your suggestions. Thank you so much :)

I would suspect it is on death's doorstep.

Here you go: a) check the tires have good thread b) check the car do not overheats when running still c) If you can do a drive test check changing all gears D, R, 3 and L back and forth with your foot on the pedal break. d) last but not least accelerate to 90 mph in a safe area, it this runs as expected go for it. I own a Grand Caravan 2000, with 230K miles, it runs smooth, and awesome gas/mile efficiency.
