Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Obtained this vehicle in a "no start" condition.  Attempting to fix problem. Engine turns over, will not start.  Replaced the crankshaft position sensor.  Now we have actual fire shooting out from top of carberator.  Where to begin?

your carburetor is dumping fuel because there's two floats inside there that maintain the points of how much fuel is going down into your cylinders so you need to do a carburetor rebuild it new springs for your little floats a lot of time the floats to sit there too long or is been the original floats and that gasoline eats away at the plastic and they sink causing the following to be fully open that would be your best bet to check first buddy cuz you know you're getting fuel too much fuel
