Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm working on a 01 Grand Caravan. It turns
over but won't start. I can jump the starter. I
hear the fuel pump prime. I hear it firing.. But
no go. There is an unplugged wire harness on
the steering column.. Not sure if that's an
issue..I can't seem to find where it plus in. Or
could it be an issue with the safety kill
sheikh? I know it's vage...but can anyone help
me to figure out what to check next?

Don't worry about that plug. What does it do when you turn the key? and what's the back story?

Back story.. my friend's mom has had a bunch of electrical issues with it. It hasn't run in a year. If I just turn the key nothing happens. Just dash lights and aux. Then the fuel pump primes. When I first looked the dash lights flickered and stayed on when I removed the key. There was a loose ground on the battery cable.

I'm not sure how old it is. It fires over rapidly after I wired in a push start. But can a bad battery still effect it even if it's firing?

Im trying a new battery today to see if that does it. New quotation about it... Will the Grand Caravan start is the drivers for is open? I don't remember if I had it in or sit when trying to start it..

It's the coil pack. It has to be. I put in a new battery. I then home up a test light. I tried be plug that goes to the coil pack.. I had power.. I tried after the coil pack.. no power..
