Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How often or after how many miles should I change the oil on my newly
acquired 2009 Subaru Forester? I don't have the original maintenance and
service book.

If it were my car I would change it every 3,000 but that is me. My 2003 Forester's oil was changed every 3,000 and your car is almost exactly the same as a 2003.

3,000 miles is what I used with my Corolla. I'll also check the color of the oil. Thank you!
