will 1/2 ton front end parts will work for a 3/4 ton front end? like the a-arms and idler arm and pitment arm? for a 1990 gmc/chevy 4x4

they should work fine. if its a 2 wheel drive then the only real difference between the two are rear end parts. such as the springs, gears, sometime the whole rear end.

even then on that year of truck the front should be the same... what parts are you wanting to change? the front suspension such as spindles, a arms, cv shafts, and such should all be the same. gm wanted to keep a have decent ride with their truck so they made the heavy half and 3/4 ton trucks with the same front end components and changed the rear springs. the only difference you might have is bolt patter front 5 to 6 or 8 lug. but the old rotor should fit on fine.
