Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How can I tell that there is a problem with my pressure plate flywheel and
clutch in my 77 Chevy k10 what are the signs? I have no power in second gear

If the engine speed goes up and the truck does not speed up then the clutch is probably slipping.

Lack of power could be a lot of things. Start with a tuneup.

The transmission is not related to the power problem. That is almost certainly a perception issue.
