my 1971 chevy c10 hood wont open

I recently had some engine work done on my 1971 chevy truck c10. now the hood wont open. how do I get it opened?

are you pushing down on it real hard as you try to unlatch it? Your mechanic prolly left something in the hood lock area or at the 2 stoppers on the outside corners of the hood. Might be able to get some type of long pry bar and go up between the grill and core support. Good luck.
