Im having trouble getting spark in my 89 2500. the coil and distributor block checked out be fine, but still not getting any spark. Any one ever have that problem? What can it be?

The pick up coil or the electronic ignition is the most likely problem. It is easy to replace plus the rotor. Should allways do cap and rotor at the same time. Plus is the rotor turning when you turn the engine over? If not the timeing chain or the gear on the bottom of the distributor is shot
