is there a tool that I can use to remove the red clip. I tried to remove it for 20 minutes and it won't move.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm trying to replace the coil pack on my 2005 Neon and I can't get the red clip to move at all. Is there a special tool or some trick that I am missing? I spent nearly an hour just trying to move the clip before I finally just gave up.

Yep, there is a special and VERY expensive tool... Wait for it... a flat head screw driver or pick. :-) lol, I don't mean to offend you, been there myself. Stick a small flat head on there and twist it to the side or push the plug out with a pick. YouTube is your friend! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kGC7UNXW5k
