I have a 2000 Chrysler 300m and for the past week and a half I go to start my car and sometimes it starts but other times all the lights on the dashboard will light up and then flash and nothing else I have to wiggle the key for a bit before the car will start up I have no clue what to do

Try another key if you have one as it may have an issue with the key or the associated anti theft system.

I have used the key my husband has for my car and it still happens

There is a gear selector switch on the gear selector. This switch will not allow the car to start if it is not made (on). When this happens try pushing the gear selector forward towards the P position.
