About how much gas do I have left once my gauge reads e in my 98 Cadillac Sedan DeVille

Question type: General

I just want to know because it goes to e right after
three and it fluxuates up and down 3.5 to 4 gallons
constantly depending wich way the car is facing
wich im use too because ive own all caddilacs

Cadillac gauges are set up that way. Once you drop below 3 gallons, you either get an L (low fuel level) or an E indicating 2 gallons left and, finally a flashing E that says you are under a gallon. As TOM indicated, you do not want to drive around with less than 2 gallons showing (E) or you may burn up the pump.
