New rebuilt motor

Brand new rebuilt motor, new water pump, new
radiator, new thermostat,  engine probably has
about 10,000 miles on it,  recently the code ipm
b1343 popped up, can that particular code cause
engine to overheat? Any info on this matter will
greatly be appreciated, thx!

You need to stat engine size and vin series number to determine what your code means, check this web site out / http://www.troublecodes.net/cadillac/
