2002 Mustang Over Heating

I have a 2002 mustang that over heats while idling
change the  thermostat and got a new  radiator.
Someone please help

Other than a bad water pump you could have a blown head gasket. Does the engine oil look normal color & consistancy? Is it white & milky?

Check the cooling fans are actually coming on. Turn AC on full as that will make fans come on, to verify they are working.

I’ve hardly seen bad pumps but it’s a possibility. Is the repl. stat in correctly? Sensor facing block? How long does it take to oh? Are you getting heat from heater? Can you see coolant flowing with rad. cap off & racing engine?
