Cadillac deville won't start getting a reading low fuel oh, I just put gas in it overnight haven't driven i stand for a moment it seemed like it wanted to start then the gauge fuel went up a few notch

If it was run out of fuel the chances are very high that the fuel pump burned up, it is located inside the fuel tank and uses the fuel as a coolant, so if you run it lower than 1/4 tank then the pump get exposed and runs hotter than it should, if you run it out of fuel it burns up. So a fuel pressure test is needed.
