optra engine swap

is it hard to  replace a 07 optra 2.0 and put a 2.2 instead ??????

The base motor should not have changed. Most pf the changes are internal. Is it hard? You need wrenches, screw drivers, plyers, vice grips, and a motor lift. If you have never done this before, take pictures of where things are connected to, keep notes, tag everything and put little and mid size parts in marked bags. (upper water hose clamp at engine etc.)
