Bleeping sound every 3 or 4 minutes. Car engine running and driving the car is perfect

I have a 2006 Chevrolet Optra. Valet parked the car at a hotel for a meeting. After the valet delivered the car to me at the hotel as I drove away there was a bleeping sound every 3 to 5 minutes. The car runs and drives fine. It's just the bleeping sound. I was thinking that the hotel valet driver pushed a button or something. I've checked the owners manual but can't find any reference on the bleep. Does any one have any idea or suggestion as to what the bleeping sound is ?

Would appreciate help and advise on this issue.

Have you listened really closely to pin point where it's coming from? It will be easier to figure out if you can give more detail. Is it from the radio speakers? Door alarm? Did the valet guy lose a pager between the seats?

I gave the car a going over but couldn't find any clue.The car was bought brand new and I have never heard this bleeping sound before. Checked the trunk and all doors to see if they were secure but nothing seemed out of place. As the car was valet parked I turned the radio off. However, when I drove away from the hotel I noticed that the radio was on. This is why I thought that the valet driver push some button on the radio or something. I'm still searching for the solution. Has any other Chevy Optra owner ever had this problem ? Appreciate your reply and your answer is very logical. Thanks, Smith Willy

Here's what I would try. When you hear the noise, (it may be all of the time) start pulling fuses one by one until the noise stops. That will narrow it down. If noise is every few minutes only, I would start by pulling the radio fuse and go from there.
